will be in for a different kind of holiday! Our family Fiji Vacation
Cottage is
located close to the town of Savusavu on the island of Vanua Levu in the Fiji
Islands. The weekly
rate for this holiday accommodation in the Fiji Islands is $650 US per week. Nightly rates are
available at $100 US per night, minimum 3 nights. A 50% deposit is required to

This
Fiji Holiday House has superior furnishings, is situated approximately one
mile from the local airstrip and a ten minute, 1.5 mile taxi-ride from Savusavu town.
We have named our Fiji Holiday Home, Vatuseta, and our guest cottage "Tree Fern
Cottage" or in Fijian "Bala Bala Cottage" because the cottage is ringed by
wonderful tree ferns that enhance its setting and beautiful view. "Tree Fern
Cottage" is located
on 5.5 acres of tropical gardens and is approximately a 200 meter walk to
the lagoon from the bottom of the property. Papaya, coconuts, guava, and mangos
(when in season) can be picked directly
from trees right outside your front door. Relax, enjoy a cool drink and
take in the fabulous view from the covered
veranda of this vacation home!

Fiji is the soft coral capital of the
world. Crystal clear water and an abundance of marine creatures including turtles, sharks
and brightly colored fish inhabit local reefs. Scuba diving can be arranged with
local
dive operators. A rainforest dominates the area around Savusavu, offering
hiking opportunities to discover exotic plants such as wild orchids and tree
ferns. Both adults and kids can enjoy snorkeling in the lagoon, reef walks at low
tide, or visiting with locals in the nearby villages. Take the kayak
and leisurely paddle on the lagoon to the Cousteau Resort, and maybe even picnic
on one of the islands. Visitors to Fiji are met with the ever present Bula
("Welcome!"), and a friendly smile - this is the trademark of the
Fijian people. Your visit will result in a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
